Allegra Strategies Limited is a leading-edge strategy consulting firm based in central London. We are currently looking for a confident and eloquent Sales Executive able to provide B2B sales and relationship development for our high profile clients.
The Role
In this role, you will dedicate 90% of your time to sales and new business development activities selling Allegra’s reports and consulting services mainly to the clients in the retail, foodservices and hospitality sector.
You will be dealing on daily basis with senior stakeholders from international organizations including Marketing and Managing Directors, Insight Managers and other decision makers responsible for setting up company market or product plans.
In order to be able to deliver in the role you should possess strong business awareness; be up-to-date with current business events in the industries and be able to communicate with people at all levels. This is a great opportunity for an individual who wants to manage high profile business accounts in the future.
New Business Development and Sales: 90%
- Discussing on daily basis with clients the improvement of their market strategies as well as tools their need to support the process
- Presenting and selling Allegra’s reports and consulting services over the phone
- Negotiating contracts and terms of cooperation
- Development of Sales strategy for Allegra’s reports
- Ongoing business development and leads generation
- Building relationships to up-sell and cross-sell
- Attending company and industry events and summits
Marketing: 10%
- Developing marketing material (online and offline) for the products
- Developing sales campaigns for the products
- Developing an integrated approach for existing database of clients
- Developing database of new target clients
The Ideal Candidate
A confident and independent Sales professional with 2-3 years of experience in Sales and Marketing, ideally in the business services sector. You will have the ability to engage effectively with our high profile client base, convincing them of the benefits of our products. Ideally, you will have experience of market research, publishing, events or consultancy services. Educated to degree level.
Personal Characteristics that are important in this role include:
- Minimum of a year of sales experience in events or media industry
- Confidence and convincing telephone/ communication manner
- Business English knowledge, other language would be an advantage
- Strong Communication skills - both written & verbal
- Confident cold calling abilities and workload planning skills
- Effective working within a wide team
- Self-starter & ability to work by themselves
- Good written and spoken level of English
Salary: competitive basic plus commission scheme
