Position: Operations and Marketing Executive
Allegra Foundation is a registered charity (No. 1133540) set up by the Allegra Group to support sustainable humanitarian aid projects to provide clean drinking water and relevant education to communities in Africa.
We are here to help people who live in areas with limited drinking water resources. Can you imagine your own house without access to drinking water? Unfortunately, there are still families who struggle every day in order to get fresh clean water on their table. That is why we need you to help us make every donation go as far as possible as our charity will help to build infrastructure in African villages that still have problems with access to drinking water.
The role
This is a great opportunity for someone with passion for charity values, drive and creative approach. You will be working closely with the foundation project manager and co-operating on daily basis with senior managers from international corporations supporting Allegra’s Foundation. Confident in dealing with people at all levels, you will ensure that we always convey our professionalism and efficiency.
Your responsibilities will involve:
- support and execution of marketing and PR initiatives
- monitoring and evaluation of projects’ progress
- production and distribution of newsletters, press releases and adverts
- updating and website maintenance, content management, SEO, monitoring of social media presence, setting up of e-mail campaigns
- building rapport with organizations supporting the foundation and press
- research on ideas on how the foundation can attract more corporate donations
- monitoring and registration of banking donations
- database management and keeping records up to date
- enquiry handling and support to the foundation’s volunteers and fundraisers
Your profile
You will combine keen attention to detail with administration, MS Office and excellent organizational and communication skills. Some marketing, charity and fundraising experience would be also very beneficial for the role. You will be creative, imaginative and not afraid to propose new ideas and marketing channels in order to promote foundation’s values. Independent and reliable in your approach, you will also take the ownership of some of the projects.
You will therefore possess:
- strong organizational and planning skills
- excellent written and verbal communication
- good understanding of marketing techniques
- ability to work on multiple projects
- ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- strong administration and accuracy competence
Salary: 19,000-22,000
Location: Swiss Cottage, London NW3
